I have been a resident of Central Austin for 7 years. When we moved here 7 years ago with our one-year old daughter, little did we know we would add four boys to the family in the following four years!
A few years ago, I told a friend of a recent nerve-wracking visit to a pool with my 3 youngest sons. She told me about ISR. I researched the www.infantswim.com website, cried at the testimonies of families whose children are alive today because of these lessons and KNEW I had to have my youngest children trained.
As I witnessed their progression from distress to confidence in their aquatic skills, I knew we had made a meaningful decision in their personal development. My husband most appreciated that each child is trained to not panic, but rather to solve a potentially fatal problem with an appropriately prepared skill set. Talk about valuable early life lessons!
